The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA), an advocate and voice for the growing US flexible packaging industry, has announced the election of its 2026 Emerging Leadership Council (ELC) leaders. Alana Carr, inside sales and marketing manager for Hosokawa Alpine American, Inc., will continue to serve as co‑chair. She is joined by newly elected co‑chair James Rosenberger, product manager, Sustainable Solutions for Charter Next Generation.

FPA has also announced the appointment of two new ELC committee vice‑chairs. Kimberly Weiss, director of sales and marketing for Glenroy, Inc., has been named vice‑chair of the ELC Advocacy Committee, and John England, territory manager, Converter Films for Berry Converter Films, has been appointed vice‑chair of the ELC Education & Recruitment Committee.

FPA says ELC is committed to cultivating a strong network of future leaders who will help shape the issues, opportunities, and long‑term advancement of the US flexible packaging industry.

“As we welcome a new group of talented professionals into the ELC, I’m energized by the passion and fresh perspectives they bring,” comments co‑chair James Rosenberger. “We’re grateful for the members who have rolled off after contributing so much, and we’re ready to build on that foundation as we execute another impactful year of programs, including the Summer Internship Program, expanded site visits, and the FlexPack Crash Course at Pack Expo International as major highlights.”

Co‑chair Alana Carr adds, “The ELC continues to grow as a collaborative, forward-thinking group of leaders, and I look forward to working alongside both new and returning members as we advance key initiatives that will strengthen the future of our industry.”
